I love my teacher, and I wanted to do my kindness for her. I made her some delicious, gooey, brownies. Here is how it happened.
Last Tuesday, I was at my house making brownies for my teacher, Mrs. Hoeker. It was really fun. They were really good because I tried them.
The next day when I was on the bus I gave my camera to my friend, Amber English so that she could take pictures of me.
When the bell rang, I ran to my classroom. I could hardly wait to do my first ever KIDS KINDNESS! I ran into the classroom, set up my homework, and ran to the morning meeting. I was very excited! Before the meeting started, I told the T.A. that I had to make a special announcement after the meeting. The meeting seemed to drag on and on.
Then the T.A. said, “Ella has a special announcement to make.” I had already showed Amber how to work the camera. I stood up. Mrs. Hoeker was checking homework. I said to my class, ” I had to a Kids Kindness for ACT and I thought I should do mine for our wonderful teacher, Mrs. Hoeker. Then I sneaked up behind her, tapped her on the back, and handed her the tub of brownies, a card, and the KINDNESS coin.
Boy was she surprised! She had no idea it was for her. She laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed! I laughed right along with her. After that we took a picture, [See picture] and got right back to work.
She promised that she would pass on the KINDNESS coin. Hooray Mrs. Hoeker!!!!
