Warm Cookies, New Neighbors

On Thursday March 1 I went over to my new neighbors. I didn’t know what to say, so I was kind of nervous. I walked across the street holding freshly made cookies and walked up to the door.  I rang the door bell and waited and started to hear footsteps getting closer and closer.  Finally a nice young girl opened the door and said,  “Hello.”

I said,” Hi,”  and I asked her if she was the new house owner she said she was.   I gave her the cookies she thanked me  and asked me why I made them for her.  I told her it was just a welcome gift, she said thank you again and then I said good bye.
