My name is Kelsey.  A couple weeks ago my brother Drew and I started our kindness. My neighbor recently had knee-cap surgery, and we wanted to tell him that we hope he gets well soon, so we started it by giving him cards. I gave him one, then Drew gave him one, then I gave him one more. A few days later I baked him cookies, and we brought them over. He wasn’t home. So we came back later. He was home, so we knocked on his door and gave him the cookies. He was very excited and thanked us. We explained the coin and he says ” Do I really have to do something nice for someone else?” he said that to be funny. He was very happy to receive a coin. He thanked us one more time, we said goodbye and headed home.

My name is Drew. I loved doing the kindness! I was surprised to hear that he was getting knee surgery on both of his knees. One on his first knee then when that healed, the same thing except on the other one. I felt that we should do a kindness, it was the perfect thing to do. It made me feel good to do what we did. I knew it would make him feel loved.
