Meal for Brenda!!!

Hi, we are Lauren Kunnen and Ella Peterman.

For our kindness we made a meal for a lady named Brenda. She has breast cancer and is in a lot of pain. She never gets a home cooked meal that often so we thought she would really appreciate it!

On Sunday, April 29, we went to Lauren’s, and prepared Brenda a meal. It included grinders, (a warm ham and cheese sandwich) fruit salad, chips, and peanut butter pie. Once we were done, we brought it over to Brenda’s house. We gave her the coin and explained what to do with it. She said ” I can not wait to pass on the coin and I am so excited to eat the food!” She hugged us and we took a picture. We could tell she was very happy to have a home cooked meal.

Lauren and Ella, You girls are very thoughtful. I love that you did this for Brenda at time when she not only enjoys the food, but to have two nice girls like you make it and bring it to her must have made her day. Good job!!! Love, Mrs. Maurice

  3. Three months ago Brenda passed away. We grieve with her family and were honored to be a part of her life.

That was very thoughtful of Ella and Laurent to do that. I feel so bad that Brenda passed. We all in ACT will dedicate all of our kindnesses to not only the person receiving the kindness, but to also Brenda.
